Jerry, his wife Sandy, and their daughter Jennifer, operate Jerry’s Northeastern OK Driving School.
All three hold Masters in Education Degrees.

Jerry’s MS is in Safety Education. He is also a career educator, having taught Driver Education, History, Science, and Physical Education. His students have won a variety of awards including recognition for designing and promoting the pathway around LaFortune Park—The Young Citizens for Progress. Another group of students promoted recycling within the school and was recognized by the Mayor’s council. It is Jerry’s belief that experiential learning is the most lasting.

After retiring from the public schools in 1996, Jerry opened the driving school. The school presents the Walters’ with an opportunity to work with students and their families as they learn a very important life skill—that of driving.

Jerry does the majority of the classroom instruction for both Driver Education and Defensive Driving and does some of the behind the wheel instruction.
